One particular topic from past sessions seems to have fled the confines of appointment times, and has met the real world with great enthusiasm. A rapid history to clarify: the Topic was initially a theory mused by the Doctor, who has since supported the validity of it whenever it appears. The Curious Subject cannot recall voicing any opposing thoughts, despite the internal declaration of absurdity which the Topic was regarded with. (The word 'absurdity' being used with all due respect of course, seeing as how the Doctor is far more educated than the oppositional counterpart and therefore far less likely to spout absurdities unintentionally.)
The Doctor's education, profession, general knowledge and tendency towards correctness should have hinted to the Curious Subject that the benefit of the doubt may have been appropriate. The clarity following the real-world encounter with the Topic has left no room for obstinate contradictions. The tale longs to be told, however the intentional film of vague and neutral narration cannot permit this.
The ending of the tale is as follows: the Curious Subject was proven to be wrong (inaccuracy is inaccuracy even without a voice broadcasting ignorance beyond one's own skull) and the Doctor was correct. This is not shocking, nor unexpected, however internal bullheadedness cannot be permitted to ignore being bested.
