Indestructible

Curious Subject in relation to the Couch-Dweller:

The Curious Subject-
(moderately) calm, logical, creative, virtually shameless and a hobby learner with very basic social skills. Interprets observations from the previous session, researches anything unfamiliar and generally enjoys making sense of potential progress. Unfortunately the questions, comments and contributions brainstormed between sessions never seem to make themselves known. Not unlike an involuntary form of clicker training, when the door from hallway to waiting space starts to open, the Curious Subject does not, is not, cannot, will not continue to exist in a functioning manner. *poof*

The Couch-Dweller:
only operates under the blanket of what can only be called 'stupid scared.' Truth be told, there are no other descriptors for the Couch-Dweller. 'Stupid scared' mode seems to compromise the ability to communicate clearly/properly/logically. Once the first crinkly click of the door handle is heard, the Couch-Dweller instantly replaces the Curious Subject, a misfortune for all involved. If there are mental words within reach, they are flung haphazardly into sound, a tribute to cheerleader spirit 'Participate!' rather than the spirit of 'Enrich/further the conversation.'
